Stumbled across this location while enjoying a pleasant afternoon stroll through the botanical gardens.
The menu has a wide variety of vegetarian options, made fresh to order, and there were a number of pastries, pretzels, and cakes available at the counter as well. The staff members were extremely friendly and kind; the food was brought to the table after a brief wait.
Accidentally arriving before peak hours wound up being ideal, as there were many tables open and the area relatively quiet. Returned later in the evening for a pretzel snack, and every table was full, with a line at the counter!

It has everything one can need - very cosy interior, delicious cuisine with some interesting veggie/vegan options, friendly stuff. In summer time nice garden to enjoy.

Wow! I walked by there with absolutely no expectations. I was impressed by the vegan offering. First I got a super creamy cocoa with oat milk. Then I discovered the vegan roast on the menu. I had never seen anything like it anywhere. I had to eat! After a short wait it was ready. Incredibly delicious! Very well seasoned and a real culinary delight.
The service staff were all very professional, motivated and incredibly nice.
It all happened very quickly.
The surroundings by the canal and the park are beautiful.
The beer garden was sunny and shady enough thanks to the trees.

Super nice staff, best food for all tastes, absolute tip for Sunday too: roast for some, (vegan) alternatives for others. Always something new on the (daily) menu! It was again very tasty. Very pretty inside in winter, outside in summer 😊

A real insider tip. It's a great place to stop off in the grove. In summer with a beautiful beer garden and otherwise in a cozy restaurant. The staff is more than accommodating and the food was great every time. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.
